North Coast MF Drops 15 Year Anniversary Lineup, Race For Summer Begins
Starting up in 2010, just as electronic music was picking up mainstream momentum. North Coast Music Festival arrived, and at the perfect time too. Originally a multi genre multi-day party at Union Park, now 15 years later, a host to dozens of EDM artists for a 3 day festival on a Stadium campus. The festival has underwent a few transformation since its inception. Standing the test of time, North Coast continues to rise, attracting a massive 90’k attendees in 2024 with artists like Above & Beyond, Chase & Status, Hamdi, Netsky, Subtronics, Illenium, Tchami x Malaa, Levity, Disco Lines, G Jones, Dogma and more
Creating memories for a decade and a half, and doin it right. That is how North Coast survived 15 years. Chicago is a tough crowd, but we will take care of you if treat us good! And it is looking like a treat is coming for the big anniversary, as their Phase 1 lineup dropped this week. Putting together big names on list from local heroes to mainstream icons. This lineup alone can put bigger coastal and franchise festivals to shame, as if that was the goal. NCMF’s new home at SeatGeek Stadium has been a great foundation to built an experience to compliment these artists as well.
Using the stadium and its nearby lots North Coast have created an adventurous campus to please the senses. A Chill dome provides a haven from the hot summer sun, while nearby The Fire Pit brings a industrial mad max apocolyptic energy to the space. A DJ spins records, while flames dance to the frequencies in a rubens tube making a hot display! There’s a hammock area for dancers to rest and mingle, and a shipyard stage with a bar in a big yacht in the center of the field. Plenty of merchant and food vendors and displays that create a lively energy to the festival. North Coast really came a long way from Union Park!

Those are just sidequests to the main mission at the festival. Providing two more enormous stages, one out from and of course one in the stadium. Plus yet another secret stage in the VIP suites, because whats a Chicago event without a speakeasy? These stages will be spotlight to some of dance musics biggest names with some local promoter brands taking smaller stages like Wub Life, EDM Chicago, and DubHub. Going all out for their 15 year anniversary! North Coast has really stepped up their game in representing local artists in recent years. Giving them opporutinty to play along side big players as well as give audiences fresh new faces to add to their playlists.
The names causing a buzz over this years 15 year anniversary are all over the list. Deadmau5 surprises all with an exclusive DNB set, Zeds Dead returns, NGHTMRE, Rezz, Galantis, Chris Lake, Of the Trees, Seven Lions, Caspa, Excision, Benny Benassi, Sofi Tukker, Wax Motif, Taiki Nulight are all bound to steal the show. There’s some big Chicago names on the board that escaped the local stages long ago like Louis The Child, Kaskade, Dogma, Sherm and Tombz. Gracing the local takeovers are CLB, Silent Hype, Kevin Alvarez, Lee Sandstrom, Raakmo, Parti, Zyn, Boris, and Brute. Bouncing between house, techno, bass and hardstyle they will represent the city well. Just as North Coast Music Festival is doing for the 15th year, putting together a great experience for Chicago dance music lovers and opening doors for locals, that is a thing celebrate!
