Kaskade and Deadmau5 self titled Kx5 debut LP

Taking house music fans by storm, the iconic duo, Kx5 release their debut LP. Deadmau5 and Kaskade broke ground when they released I Remember in 2008 followed by Move For Me. The collaboration between the two created such  demand to see the two back in the studio together. After a decade and some change of anticpation, over the last year, these house music phenoms have been fulfilling their longtime fans wishes. The results have beat every expectation.

Running back along to their solo journey after their brief union, they have been mastering their own sound. Deadmau5 and Kaskade then return and revive excitement for house music fans. It almost seems as if they came back together at the right moment in time, in their careers and our house music journey’s as fans. Building up their own catalogs, they have come back together full circle, and created a masterpiece. A much different sound from their initial work together. A more matured, clear, and distinctive sound to the respective artists, as they adapted and evolved over the years. The fans did not know what hit them!

With each release they have been shaking the dance floor since their reunion. Long anticipated after their sudden collaborative track Beneath With Me, in March of 2022. Deadmau5 and Kaskade decided the world was ready for Escape with Hayla. The two continued to tease their LP with a few more releases. After the initiate excitement of their debut single release, they let us breath for a moment, then hit us again with Take Me High. This tune made it real, and its style and energy confirmed to fans, this project between the Canadian and Chicago born artists has more potential then we can even think of.

Soon following their single Take Me High the two release a big one. Not even over the high of their 2nd release, the two drop Alive, with a major collab with the Moth & The Flame. The talent squeezed into one track proves an unbeatable and addicting result. The lyrics, the beat, all mezmerizing, nicely balanced with a dark bass and upbeat rhythm. To capitalize that comes another collaboration in Elderbrook, with When I Talk. Their 3rd single release to have a featuring artist with amazing talent, hinting that their whole album is a creative collaboration with their network of high profile, talented artists.

Their LP debuterd after one more single release with Sofi Tukker called Sacrifice. All those singles also get music videos that have a futuristic psychadelic style to it. Each with its own idea correlating to their respective songs, using high quality animation to manipulate visual objects in any way shape and form. Having hit the mainstage with these new songs through the states, their reunion is promising as they fill up their dance arenas. The two are seemingly unstoppable and any more new music will be met with excitement and gratitude!
