Cruz Ocho Drops Some Magic!

From Chicago to Arizona, Cruz Ocho rocks the mic and the stages, picking up fans and connects here and there. Makin music as a solo artist since 2020, He has been buildin his credit with Just Wise in Chicago’s Hip Hop underground as the duo Highest Low for a little over a decade. You would think this talented emcee been spittin bars since the 90’s. His flow is reminiscent of classic boom bap artists in hip hops golden age. With handful of hit singles, a couple of EP’s and albums up his sleeve, Cruz has been on fire this year, really steppin up his output.

“No restrictions, I don’t believe in Limitations”

– Cruz Ocho

Cruz Ocho really stepping up his game these past couple of years, releasing tunes left and right. Not leaving any of his fans hangin and waiting for a something new. This year alone he has dropped an album, a few singles, and music videos to add to his collection, and that is just the first six months of 2024.

His earliest release of the year, Super Fantastic, is paired with a music video. Somethin simple shot by The Garage Visuals with some cool animation. Cruz just chillin at Lucky Roll Arena Boutique and MTM Recording Studio. A big network involved with this project as the beat is produced by 4most and mixed and mastered by Our Citys Finest. Cruz Ocho was not jokin around when he said “I produce magic, give em that super fantasic, ayo somethin outstandin’, it’s the new classic, somethin out of nothin!”

Cruz keeps the collabs going with a June release titled FKM. Working with Shaun Harris and Jay Bailey, this beat is also paired with a music video. One for the fans of basketball, the title takes a shot a Karl the Mailman Malone, taking the Utah Jazz logo and fitting it to abbreviate the title FKM, or F**k Karl Malone. All in good fun, no har no foul as it can be assumed one of NBA’s greatest power fowards would not mind being the topic of discussion one more time!

His latest beat really puts Cruz on the Map! Giving the beat that title exactly, is it confidence or foreshadowing? Nothing wrong with a little boastful lyricism, “I’m on a world tour with Mohammed my man, goin’ each and every place with a mic in my hand. I’m a natural born quester, international treasure, when it comes to rockin shows, nobody does it better.” With a flow so cool calm and collected, Cruz Ocho style is on another level, and luckily we got a whole ‘nother eight songs in his recently dropped album, Abstract 2, he is all over the Map!
