StankNasty with Paranoia

A talented conceptual lyricist and hip hop artist, StankNasty continues his elevation with no signs of stopping. Strapped with a hand full of singles since his first release in 2018, titled About That Time, a 3 track EP titled Epic, and a few music videos and visual promos. Ripe for the new year, StankNasty pops out of the gate with a new single for the first quarter. Always taking his time to perfect his craft, inadvertantly building anticipation for his next release, leaving you wondering whats next. Or perhaps this is done deliberately, either way, StankNasty always delivers using his full potential. With just a single release for 2022, just about one year ago for a track titled My Own Lane, that was followed up with a music video months later, it was only a matter of time for something new. StankNasty comes through again, and with a collaboration that lets you know he is not sleeping in his time off.

This new release coming early in the year is another conceptual hip hop track. Just like most of his work, like Carnage, Focus On The Pain, Scatter Brained, The Force and My Own Lane, among others, there is typically an idea behind many of StankNasty’s releases. This compliments his raw lyrical ability and flow, making for an entertaining track that provokes thought or emotion. He does it again with his lastest, titled Paranoia.

The beat itself in Paranoia is immaculate. The production by Triple A Beats gives it depth, giving energy bordering on sinister and cautious, between its hi-hats, beatwork  and chopped reverberation. This is complimented by electric guitar work, courtesy of Nufzn, adding some grit the beat, really setting you up and taking you into title of the song. Then StankNasty comes quick with his hook.

There is more to StankNasty’s lyrics than just filling up space and acting hype. He has some philosophy behind his words, and he expresses it in a way that reels you in, no matter the subject. “Its creeping up on me, the paranoia. When you get that hunch that they plotting to destroy ya’. Schemin, misleadin, decieve to exploit ya’. First they do you dirty then they avoid ya’.” In comes Tito Lopez, a rapper from Mississippi with ties to Dr. Dre. Balancing out the energy between the beat and StankNasty, the two artists are very complimentary together. All the elements in this track work out perfectly to create a very entertaining beat with high replay value.
